AI and Academia: Balancing Innovation and Integrity | Thursday, March 27 | 10:00-11:00 AM | Virtual, via Zoom | Register Here
Today, we face a dual challenge of maintaining academic integrity while leveraging AI's potential for learning. To help ease that challenge, this workshop explains how AI detection tools work, and considers the research that assesses their effectiveness and limitations. Next, we will identify what tasks AI tools truly excel at (and where they don't). Finally we’ll discuss a few strategies for AI-proofing your course. You’ll leave the workshop with at least three actionable strategies and a curated list of resources for later reference.
