AAC&U Institute on AI, Pedagogy, and Curriculum
Our goal is to propose a strategic AI vision for the university, focusing on both faculty and student engagement. Initially, we aimed to build an AI module for the General Education Program, but after assessing the current understanding of AI on campus, we determined that foundational efforts are needed first. Many faculty members and students are unfamiliar with AI's capabilities, limitations, and ethical implications. To address this gap, we will prioritize the development of a comprehensive AI framework that supports the integration of AI in teaching, learning, and research.
Academic Affairs
As part of Academic Affairs, our team drives curricular policy and technology initiatives that enhance both faculty and student experiences. We focus on developing innovative, scalable approaches to course design, integrating emerging technologies, and creating student-centered learning environments that align with the University's broader academic mission. Our support extends beyond traditional faculty development, enabling meaningful curricular transformation and a deeper, tech-enabled connection with students.
